Encyclopedic tone issues

[edit]

in the Emissions comparison part

«When assumption is made that trains are growing on trees»

«then it's completely different story»

«Sadly overall trend»

«heavily subsided by local governments to keep voters in some rural areas happy»

The points made are still relevant. (though i didn't check if they are sources)

«When assumption is made that trains are growing on trees»

«then it's completely different story»

These points are definitely opinionated, especially since the same ones can be applied to car, plane, and bus travel.

«Sadly overall trend»

This part doesn't even have a source, not to mention that carriages have gotten lighter over time. The Amfleet 2s from the 90s weight up to 113k lbs while the new Venture cars (which are actually larger) weigh 112k lbs.

«heavily subsided by local governments to keep voters in some rural areas happy»

This one cites Wikipedia as a source.
