Clarify meaning of table entries?
[edit]An IP editor was recently confused by the use of "polynomial" (when the sequence is itself a polynomial in the length of the permutations) vs. "rational g.f." (which includes the former class as a subclass, but is a description of the g.f. for the sequence rather than the sequence itself). Perhaps there is some way to add a key or other explanatory text so that people less familiar with the terminology will be able to understand this article better? --JBL (talk) 13:41, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
