Greetings,
1) The link, "What is English Paper Piecing - How it's done and its history | European Quilting Supplies". www.eqsuk.com. Retrieved 2023-03-04, is not available. ["The page you are looking for does not exist."] I tried searching the site with no luck. It's probably a good thing because it is a vendor site, not a good resource site. Please provide a reliable source.
2) I Do not understand exactly what this quilting technique is. Fabric is adhered to paper patterns, then sewn together and the paper torn away? Adhering fabric and wrapping fabric (as the article states) seem like two separate things to me. How is the paper adhered and/or wrapped to stay in place? Are the smaller sections of the design pictured in the photograph appliquéd onto the main base piece or are they also sewn with seams? I find this article to be unclear.
3) If English Paper Piecing and Foundation Paper Piecing are separate techniques as the article states, why is the only extant resource for FPP and not EPP?
I find this whole entry to be quite confusing. Please clarify, provide reliable sources, and rehabilitate the article. Thank you for time and effort in this matter, Wordreader (talk) 20:58, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
