Okay, I will review here and make notes as I go below. I will attempt to massage prose, so please revert any edits I make which inadevertently change meaning. Casliber (talk · contribs) 00:31, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
- The English Water Spaniel is a breed of dog that has been extinct since the first part of the 20th century, with the last of the breed seen in the 1930s. - looks funny hanving the word 'breed' twice in once sentence. I'd try and change the 2nd bit to "last specimen", "last member" or something similar. Nothing jumps out as a terrific replacement though.
Lead needs a brief description in it as well.
"British Dogs: Their Varieties, History, Characteristics, Breeding, Management, And Exhibition" - if this is a novel or extended work, then it should be italics I think.
Overall pretty good - I am busy the next few days but will try to keep an eye out. cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 01:10, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. Adjusted those points you raised and also merged the one sentence paragraph in history into the paragraph following it. Miyagawa (talk) 11:19, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
