Inclusion of Telugu script in the lead section

About a week ago, while expanding this article, I added the Telugu name of the song in the lead section. It has been removed under the rule WP:NOINDICSCRIPT.

I read the referenced rule which advises not to use Indic scripts in the lead section or infobox of India-related articles. But I also read that it makes an exception when it comes to "articles on texts originally written in a particular script."

Since the text of this song was originally composed in Telugu, surely the Telugu script must be allowed in the lead section. Caestabi (talk) 07:58, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am doing the same adding the lyrics in Telugu, but it is keep on being reverted. I don't understand why. Ganesh24 (talk) 21:49, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
