[edit]

I just noticed a major reversion of the content I originally created for this page, apparently made in accordance with the site's Manual of Style/Disambiguation pages. While I appreciate the objective to simplify the page, the edits completely eliminated information on a number of American bands that shared the "Enchanters" name. It also removed information intended to help readers delineate the various groups and their music, which are often confused by writers, critics, historians and listeners. It had been my intent to add citations and references to this page once time permitted. I guess I'm looking for some guidance on how the deleted content can be properly incorporated on Wikipedia. Do I need to create separate pages for each of the deleted groups? And if I do, won't that violate Wikipedia's longstanding policy of avoiding "stub" pages? Thanks in advance for any help.

I haven't been on Wikipedia for awhile, so this is the first time I have read this. The kind of information that I removed when I was working cleanup of DAB pages belongs in an article, not on a Disambiguation Page. The point of a Disambiguation page is to quickly direct users to the proper Wikipedia page from a group of subjects with the same name. The information about these bands belongs in an article, or articles, provided they are of significant importance. There are a lot of stubs on Wikipedia, and many of them remain because the general consensus is that they are important subjects that warrant being expanded on. Best Regards, JMax (Okay, tell me. What'd I do this time?) 19:08, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
