This page used to be a redirect to Field Studies, an album by indie band Quasi, which contained a song called "Empty Words". Google returns 337 hits for the song and some 16000 for Cage's book, I think its pretty obvious that the book is more notable. Furthermore, there are many songs by different bands, all titled "Empty Words", not just Quasi's. I ran a quick search for "Empty Words" in Wikipedia, found the bands that have a song titled that and linked all the bands. I think there is no need for a disambig page for "Empty Words", or two articles Empty Words (song) and Empty Words (John Cage book) - none of the songs are particularly important, it seems, and so none are likely to have their own articles.
