Something does not quite add up
[edit]Empress Kang Zhang died in 1663, so how come that "In 1661, when Emperor Shunzhi died, Empress Xiao Kang Zhang was given the title of the "Cihe Dowager Empress" (Chinese: 慈和皇太后), because she was the biological mother to the new Kangxi Emperor. Four months later, Empress Xiao Kang Zhang died". Four months? Avihu (talk) 20:37, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Avihu. You're right! My chronology of Qing history (the 14th volume of the Qingchao tongshi 清朝通史 edited by the Zijincheng chubanshe 紫禁城出版社) confirms that she died of illness on March 20, 1663 (11th day of the 2nd month of the 2nd year of Kangxi; conversion to Gregorian calendar confirmed here). The wiki should be modified accordingly. Madalibi (talk) 01:05, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
