Formal Name - Translation
[edit]Hi User:Nlu,
I would not translate 靈皇后 as 'inattentive' (I guess, that's what you mean with 'unattentive') at all. '靈' translates to 'good', 'clever', or 'effective'. Sometimes it can mean 'alert' and is thus rather 'attentive' than 'inattentive'.

灵:勤成名曰灵;死而志成曰灵;死见神能曰灵;乱而不损曰灵;好祭鬼神曰灵;极知鬼神曰灵;不遵上命曰灵;德之精明曰灵。--刻意(Kèyì) 14:26, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
Gruesome tradition
[edit]The statement "Because of Northern Wei's tradition that when a crown prince is created, his mother must be put to death ..." needs to have some citation. 115.64.142.162 (talk) 05:06, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
