[edit]As a stats major I really enjoyed learning more about these principles in Statistics. I think you could improve your article just by rephrasing some of your sentences and refraining from repeating similar phrases or words repeatedly.
For example, I think "Many of these observances have been formulated and proved as statistical or probabilistic theorems and the term "law" has been carried over to these theorems. There are other statistical and probabilistic theorems that also have "law" as a part of their names that have not obviously derived from empirical observations. However, both types of "law" may be considered instances of a scientific law in the field of statistics." could be reduced or stated more elegantly. It would also be interesting and informative if you provided a one sentence summary of each of the laws you list and link to (so readers don't have to click into each one to be moderately informed). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Feliciahjiang (talk • contribs) 14:49, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for your suggestions - I was busy earlier today, but I'll try to see if I can make these changes sooner or later, at least for the benefit of the people. VjiaoBlack (talk) 01:18, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
