Charting, Songwriters, and Worship leaders
[edit]First thing first. Under charting for "Touch the Sky" I couldn't add references. The reason why is that when on Billboard's website whenever I have typed "Hillsong United", it only shows songs from the "Zion" era. So I can't place a reference tagging it to Hillsong United's discography due to "Touch the Sky" not being under it. But under places like "Christian Airplay", "Hot Christian Songs" and "Christian Digital", it shows that "Touch the Sky" has charted, and it is still currently on the charts. If I were to tag a reference to one of those charts, there's a good chance that in a week - give or take - that the song will have moved somewhere from the chart. Is what I'm saying making any sense? For the songwriters and Worship leaders, where was the info for that obtained from? Ilovechristianmusic (talk) 14:59, 30 April 2015 (UTC)ilovechristianmusic
- I'm not sure if that makes sense. If the album is charting anywhere, there may be a link back to an album entry. The album entry should list all of the charts. If that's the case, a reference next to the album. New entries may not appear for a few weeks.
- The writers should be clearly listed in the album's liner notes and often at AllMusic or similar sites. If the worship leaders are not also listed there, we simply do not include them. It's not a requirement. It's a convention that was started at some time but does not need to continue and could be removed from previous album articles if not sources are found there. The same goes for Jesus Culture, Passion and other similar articles. Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:56, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
- Apologies for that not making sense. I just checked Billboard, and everything is working properly now. Maybe it was just a glitch in the site/my computer on that day. Adding the references right now. Thanks for telling me about that. I had no clue that album information like songwriters or Worship leaders could be listed before the album's release. Ilovechristianmusic (talk) 18:06, 30 April 2015 (UTC)ilovechristianmusic
- May the songwriters and Worship leaders (other than for "Touch the Sky") be removed due to no resources? Then add whoever wrote the song and is the Worship leader is when the album is released so that we know that it is official? Thank you. Ilovechristianmusic (talk) 18:25, 30 April 2015 (UTC)ilovechristianmusic
- No need to apologize. Billboard does odd things. Looks like their database was updated for recent entries.
- That might be a good solution. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:19, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
- As for "Touch the Sky" being released as a single. The same day that "TTS" was released, K-LOVE listed it as a new song. But, if I would tag a link to K-LOVE, there's a good chance that in a month or so that "TTS" will disappear from that section, sadly due to K-LOVE having ever-changing links. And I can't find anywhere that says when it impacted Mainstream Christian radio. And, the link to Amazon won't work for a link? I thought that the release date for it would have worked. Fourth studio album
[edit]I changed it from "United's fourth album," to "United's fourth studio album" due to the fact that they have released many albums, and that this is their fourth studio album. Am I mistaken that this is their fourth? I'm just trying to go by United's discography. Thanks. Ilovechristianmusic (talk) 13:14, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

References
Not done Due to the problems that this specific subject has created, I would like to see a reference that can be accessed online. Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:05, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- Question: If this album is CCM, as the infobox claims, how is that there are "worship leaders" at all? If it's contemporary worship, I could see there being worship leaders. Perhaps the term should be changed to lead vocalist or something similar, or the genre should be changed (with a source) to support the idea that it's a worship album. 208.81.212.222 (talk) 17:41, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- Interesting point. Any Hillsong types care to respond? Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:24, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
- So now it's a CCM, worship and rock album but still no verifiable online source. Walter Görlitz (talk) 02:51, 3 June 2015 (UTC)

Target bonus
[edit]Does anyone know if the Target version of the album is available at Target Canada also, or is it just a U.S. bonus? ilovechristianmusic Talk to Me! 13:43, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
New references
[edit]The references added for the worship leader fail. The first appears to be the songwriter, not primary performer. Occasionally, those can be the same person, but not always. They are poor sources. I'm not sure why a single source cannot be found. If there isn't one, I'm not sure why we should be supporting a collection a sources. I would like to see the column removed because it's inviting inventive solutions to a simple problem. Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:04, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
