Two entries for the same movie
[edit]Someone should fuse this with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_the_Realm_of_the_Senses which is the same movie.Schwilgue (talk) 14:42, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
"It was released in France as Fantom Amour"
[edit]Stuart Galbraith is a knowledgable writer on Japanese cinema, but this strikes me as dubious on its face since "fantom" (as far as I can determine) isn't an actual word in French. Perhaps this was just a misspelling on the part of Galbraith or his editor(s), but in France today the film is invariably known as L'empire de la passion and all other indications are that this was always the case. The bilingual press kit created by the French co-producer Argos Films gives the title as L'empire de la passion, as does the French poster; the French and Japanese trailers use this title as well. Is there any other source attesting to the French title Fantom Amour or some variant thereof? -24.155.241.98 (talk) 21:55, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
