– Empire of Light is a major film by an Oscar-winning director/writer/producer, starring an Oscar-winning actress. The sole other entry using this exact main title header is a stub delineating an obscure decade-old Empire of Light (album). There is also a standalone main header for Magritte's The Empire of Light also referenced as The Empire of Lights or The Dominion of Light, with a hatnote stating: "For other uses, see Empire of Light." Thus, a hatnote atop the film's entry stating: "For the album, see Empire of Light (album); for the Magritte paintings, see The Empire of Light" would similarly suffice. If consensus skews towards making the film the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC — Empire of Light (film) → Empire of Light and Empire of Light → Empire of Light (disambiguation) — I would also support such an alternative option. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 09:22, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

- Move as proposed and quash the disambiguation page in favor of a two-link hatnote. BD2412 T 15:02, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- I really don't like the idea of promoting an as-of-yet unreleased film as the primary topic over an important series of 20th-century paintings. Unless we're going solely by WP:SMALLDIFFS? – Uanfala (talk) 15:11, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- Support. The film is clearly more significant than the album. The paintings might have greater long-term significance, but the lack of the article serves as a natural disambiguator. Nardog (talk) 15:13, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
Camber Sands
[edit]Is there a Wikipedia-appropriate source to verify that a scene in the film was shot in Camber Sands, which I've visited several times and recognise instantly. All I can find is tabloid trash talking about what clothes some of the cast are (or aren't) wearing. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 18:21, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
