[edit]The image Image:Kebra Nagast.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. IPA?
[edit]The IPA is given as /nəgusä nägäst/, but this is not IPA, as far as I am aware, as IPA doesn't use the symbol ä. Is this meant to be a transliteration of the Ethiopian? Notice that this phrase is used at Eskender too (and possibly elsewhere). If it is a transliteration, it is a bizarre one as neither ə nor ä are letters of the Latin alphabet. — 79.72.176.237 (talk) 07:51, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Just a minor point, both ə and ä are, of course, letters of the Latin alphabet. English isn't the only language using the Latin alphabet. -- megA (talk) 23:03, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
Emperors of Ethiopia
[edit]The title of Emperor of Ethiopia is a retrograde naming. In the History of what makes up the territory of Ethiopia today. Thae name Ethiopia was not used as its name until It was adopted in the 30s by Halie salasie. So how can there be Emperors of Ethiopia when there was nt even a country by that that name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Liban80 (talk • contribs) 22:24, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
The section entitled End of Emperorship states "However, the 1995 Constitution of Ethiopia confirmed the abolition of the Emperorship." However, the link simply goes to another wiki page which gives a brief description of the Constitution. I have read the 1995 constitution and could find no reference to the abolition of the Emperorship. Could whoever wrote this provide a direct source or link so that it can be confirmed?

Spacing in legend
[edit]we need spacing in the legend as it stands now it looks unclear — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sasnfbi1234 (talk • contribs) 19:44, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- That's fine, but this is not. —rybec 20:58, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- I was not doing it. I am happy with it now with its spacing. its looks goods.
- It seems when i try to save it gives me an error and for what ever reason that error gets rid of the coat of arms --Sasnfbi1234 (talk • contribs) 2013-11-14T23:48:15
- @Sasnfbi1234: This edit by someone else went wrong because he had a browser extension that replaced "cloud" with "butt". If you have an extension like that, please turn it off. I noticed that when you edited your talk page, the words "coat of arms" and "Mountain" (c/o/a/t/ /o/f/ a/r/m/s and M/o/u/n/t/a/i/n/) got deleted. —rybec 01:52, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
