Beliefs
[edit]Does the YouTube link back up all of the claims in the Beliefs section? Dark Funeral is a band with a rather traditional Satanist image, unlike Necromantia or Acheron, so I am a bit surprised to read about him being a LaVeyan. --132.187.3.26 (talk) 10:55, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- I once found an interview where Caligula and Ahriman explicitly stated they were LaVeyan (and at one point they founded an organisation based on these beliefs) but sadly it seems to have disappeared. Ahriman has also implied in other views that he was LaVeyan, furthermore they were involved with Shane Bugbee in making "Club Satan: The Witches Sabbath". I'll see if I can do a waybackmachine search later if I still have the link (I bookmarked it once). Dark Prime (talk) 13:42, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- http://web.archive.org/web/20070505005300/www.metalandhorrormovies.com/Bands/Dark+Funeral/Dark+Funeral+Interviews.htm This was as far as I could get. Unfortunately the interviews themselves don't seem to have been archived. Dark Prime (talk) 14:53, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, oh, at the very least he's "evil" in the Swedish lagom way, so that "OK, the concentration camps were a little unpleasant, but not too unpleasant". (Fun isn't it?) It seems the guy Emperor Magus Caligula is just an artistic performance of the real existant individual Magnus Broberg, I wouldn't wager too much that the ascribed qualities of Emp. M. Caligula are real. Rursus dixit. (mbork3!) 12:45, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
