[edit]Hello,
I've recently evaluated this article as a part of my class assignment. I've made the following notes on how the article can be improved.
Article Evaluation: Emotional Well Being
- it does not have enough context
- focused and well organized
- unbiased ( shows both sides )
- beginning could use more information
- needs more factual information
- achieves its rhetorical purpose

Is this article needed
This article suffers from much vagueness, generality, and 'hodgepodginess' of ideas. I verified 3 refs and found them wanting: one was misleading as to what the article said (I corrected that), one does not support the text ("The Surgeon General's Priorities". 2012-02-27), and another is a youtube video ("Surgeon General Vivek Murthy on the importance of emotional well-being"). Whatever useful tidbits there are, could be incorporated in the Mental health article. Knoitalno (talk) 23:37, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
Should be merged with Well-being.
[edit]This article is vague, poorly-descriptive, and its subject matter is better covered in Well-being. It has severe issues with breaking from encyclopedic tone, and instead of providing an accurate scientific description of emotional well-being, it provides unhelpful New Age-esque spirit-talking; stuff that should be on obscure, dubiously-accurate websites, not Wikipedia. I argue that we should either merge it with the articles mentioned above, or nuke the current content and replace with a redirect. Teb (talk) 19:13, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
