Logo
I'm unsure if the convention should be to use the law-specific logo. Aesthetically speaking, particularly since the only difference is some oversized text, I believe the emory-university logo makes more sense. I will change in the next few days unless I hear objections otherwise.LH (talk) 06:58, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree. This is not because I am the uploader of the SVG image, but more because I feel that because the Emory University site tells us to use this one, we should follow it's advice. Also, since this article is separate from the main university article, then surely the logo should be more specific - I mean, even if it just means text, it still is the only way of 'illustrating the article at hand' to an extent where it is correct, and otherwise I would imagine that the fair use rationale becomes invalid... I'm reverting for now, but I don't want to get into a revert war. If it does get to that stage, I will seek input from an admin. Asenine (talk)(contribs) 11:05, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- See, e.g., Harvard Law School (no logo); Yale Law School (coat of arms, no text); Columbia Law School (coat of arms, no text); Stanford Law School (no logo); Northwestern University School of Law (name of university integrated into seal). --LegalSwoop (talk) 16:53, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- You may want to read the template page about want logo is appropriate. --Jerm (Talk/ Contrib) 22:46, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Bankruptcy Developments Journal
This page (and the Emory website) says that this journal is the only student-run journal in the field of bankruptcy. That is not true. See American_Bankruptcy_Institute_Law_Review. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.227.141.252 (talk) 05:00, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
