Human Chimp Hybrid
[edit]Yerkes created a human chimp hybrid by reports I have seen. Can get some info on this and put it in the wiki?--60.242.71.160 (talk) 00:49, 12 May 2012 (UTC) "Conspiracy Theory" with Jesse Ventura on the Discovery TV channel did an investigation into these claims. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.96.209.155 (talk) 19:48, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
- The Yerkes humazee euthanasia claim has re-surfaced on occasion of the alleged 100th anniversary, voiced by a respected university professor, who heard it from his teacher, who conducted the experiment himself. See the article here: http://www.news.com.au/technology/science/animals/inside-the-bizarre-world-of-humanchimp-hybrids-known-as-humanzees/news-story/715e8332b857e57f9069c1aee8e0ec88
- I think it would be better to include the topic in the article, because silence often makes people think there is a cover-up going on. 82.131.210.163 (talk) 17:16, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
Connection to CDC?
[edit]Yerkes is a National Primate Center and while they do work in support of NIH and CDC and receive funds from those institutions, they are not part of CDC as stated on the wikipedia page. The only place I can find both mentioned in the same place is Emory's Vaccine Center web pages. It is hard to find any mention on the CDC web site as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.118.215.165 (talk) 15:03, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
