Reorganization of content
Today I began reorganizing the topic of emoji to give a wider representation of the subject. Currently, the page is flooded with technical information, which in my opinion is overwhelming. I suggest that emoji should look more like Video game, directing the reader to more specific topic pages rather than trying to squeeze everything into a single page. Happy to discuss how this could be done to give a more informative background on the topic.FelixFLB (talk) 11:58, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- Some of the content moved from Emoji to Implementation of emojis had anchors. Did you locate and change all of the inbound links? — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 17:33, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- I agree, there are a ton of technical emoji topics, like ZWJ sequences, regional indicator and tag sequences, skin tone modifiers, non-RGI emoji on certain platforms, Apple's old Private Use Area emojis that still work on iPhones. ~ ::AntisocialRyan (talk) 23:23, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
- GhostInTheMachine I didn't if I'm honest as I didn't notice. Happy to change the inbound links when I get a chance to, unless someone beats me to it. AntisocialRyan I agree. I'm trying to find examples of where similar implementations have taken place, but can't seem to find a good example to replicate. Maybe like Video_game_development, so we have an Emoji development page? But more than happy to go another route. FelixFLB (talk) 13:19, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
- FelixFLB Nudge. You broke Wikipedia, please fix it! — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 07:58, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
- @FelixFLB: @GhostInTheMachine: I should mention that four days ago, I went through the redirects and retargeted those pointing to the sections now in the other article. So I don't think there's more to be done there anymore. --HarJIT (talk) 19:58, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
- Awesome. Thank you HarJIT — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 20:35, 14 September 2021 (UTC)

change "DP-211SW and contained" to "DP-211SW that contained" Guaihirr (talk) 11:29, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
- Done, although I made it non-restrictive, which seemed more appropriate. – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 11:54, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
