Serving which village?
[edit]The station's coordinates are 52.65919593616187, 0.21656818852775997. This is 1.17 mi (1.88 km) from Emneth and 1.33 mi (2.15 km) from Emneth Hungate as the crow flies.
But not only is Emneth closer, and thus more likely the village served by Emneth Station, Emneth Hungate is closer to the neighbouring station of Smeeth Road (1.26 mi, 2.03 km) - Smeeth Road goes between Emneth Hungate and St John's Fen End, with the station right in the middle!
Thus it makes all the sense in the world to claim that Emneth Station serves Emneth, and not Emneth Hungate. Thoughts? CapnZapp (talk) 09:40, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
