Notability
[edit]I'm new at Wikipedia, and am not quite clear why a prominent painter already referenced on other pages would not be suitable or what I have to do to prevent the removal.
There is a current exhibition of her work at the Cape Ann Museum. See http://www.capeannmuseum.org/special/exhibits.htm for a description of the exhibit which opened yesterday.
I was led to create this page by clicking on a link from the Philadelphia Ten page, and have been modeling the content on that for an arguably less important colleague from this group and period who is already ensconced in Wikipedia and linked from the same page.

- At the moment, the page just says "She was a painter. She studied under important people. She was in a few clubs." It does not explain why she is important, why there should be an encyclopedia article about her. For more info, see Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Regards, скоморохъ 18:08, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Excellent Start
[edit]This article is an excellent start, many thanks, Donroby. The speedy delete tag, coming two minutes after the article was posted, was unnecessary.--Wageless (talk) 20:20, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
