Hi Dalmationrotary. Thank you for starting this. I found a 1988 obituary for Domb and included the details in the article. It refers to her as Emma Domb Vigdor/Emma Vigdor and says she is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. The obituary says she was 95 years old, which would put her birth year around 1893. It mentions two sisters, Stella Jones and Rae Hymson, so I think her maiden name was Hymson. Here's a link for Stella Hymson, which lists an Emma Hymson (1895–1932) as a sibling, though FamilySearch is user-generated source and not considered reliable for citations. I did find an Oakland Tribune article that says she was born on February 26, 1891. gobonobo+c16:31, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Thank you so much for the additional information on the page. I really have no idea how you found it, I was struggling to find an obituary. I did find a market directory that listed her name (alongside her daughter's, so I know it was her) as Emma Domb Vigdor, president of Emma Domb Inc in San Francisco, so I think you got it right!
