Marriage
[edit]There are sources that say Emma Crewe did not marry. The identification of her father is in a scholarly source, and the identification of the husband from that is in a standard genealogical reference. Charles Matthews (talk) 07:50, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
- According to the ODNB, "She has been misidentified with family members who were namesakes, including two nieces, the daughters respectively of her brothers John and Richard: Elizabeth Emma Crewe (1780–1850) and Emma Crewe (b. 1782); and her cousin Emma Crewe (b. 1782), daughter of the Revd Offley Crewe." I am planning to have a go at this article over the next day or two. — scribblingwoman 05:14, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
