To the author:

I am not quite sure what these two sentences mean:
"Emma Andijewska's father was by the Soviet authorities so that he could not transfer his discoveries to Germans."
"There Emma Andijewskaya has lain three years in plaster confined to lay sick of a tuberculosis of a backbone."

The first one should be ""Emma Andijewska's father was SHOT by the Soviet authorities..." Silin2005 (talk) 08:05, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The second means that her whole body was in plaster for three years because of the illness called "tuberculosis of a backbone" if I translated it correctly.Silin2005 (talk) 08:05, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
