Does anyone know about W3C's EMMA: "Extensible MultiModal Annotation markup language" ???? Thnx 213.37.232.127 (talk) 17:06, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Emma as a MALE name (in Africa)

[edit]

Ever heard of Emma Dorgu? Well, he is a Nigerian musician who was most popular in the end of the 1970s and the early 1980s. See also http://cartilage-consortium.blogspot.com/2011/02/boogie-boogie-west-african-synthie.html. So it's time to look beyond the Western world for uses of the name even in the other gender. -andy 77.190.20.153 (talk) 08:05, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Emma, the Finnish folk song

[edit]

"Emma" is also a Finnish folk song, written by Väinö Siikaniemi. Here is its entry in the Finnish Wikipedia. I wasn't sure if I am supposed to add it to this disambiguation page, as there are no articles for that song in the English Wikipedia. Yigit Kilicoglu (talk) 00:44, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
