Americanocentric View
[edit]This article neglects to mention that her third album was released two years earlier in Europe and one year earlier in Japan before the U.S. release. Contrary to common belief of the country's inhabitants, the United States are not the center of the universe. -- 84.159.104.221 (talk) 08:20, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

Images
[edit]A note to anyone wondering why I agree with the subject and their view that those images from 2011 should not be in the article; all the way back to August 27, 2011, she made it clear that those images should not be used and she did not give any permission for them to be used beyond the photo taker, who uploaded them to Commons without a word to her.
We're done arguing about this; we have had nearly eleven years of ignoring the subject's wishes and restoring these photos over and over again and calling her a 'vandal', unwarranted. I know self-editing an article is frowned upon, but regarding images she never gave permission to be posted online? For such a long period of time? It's appalling, and it will no longer be tolerated here. They stay out and have been nominated for deletion on Commons, and once she has made her own images she has made available under her terms and proper permissions there, we will welcome them 100%.
I don't want to call this restoration for so long against her will gaslighting, but this is a case where an understanding a few years back would've saved a whole lot of pain and anguish for Emily. I never knew about her until last night, but the behavior of editors over the years to her is unacceptable, and completely unwelcome, and as a 17-year WikiVet myself, this has to be among the worst cases of hostility towards an article subject I've ever seen. Any further bullying or ignoring of her wishes, and this is going to a noticeboard. Nate • (chatter) 19:13, 10 May 2022 (UTC)
