Parry's "English Suite"
[edit]It seems acknowledged that Parry's "English Suite" for string orchestra - written towards the end of his life - was composed of pieces for her string orchestra put in order by her for its posthumous premiere. Surely someone knows a bit more about this? Delahays (talk) 01:54, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
Education
[edit]Music in Twentieth-century Oxford: New Directions has a note about Emily Daymond, which says I am grateful to Amanda Ingram, Archivist of St Hugh's, for confirming her membership of the col-lege (on the recommendation of the Principal, Eleanor Jourdain: Council minutes, 26 February 1921).
[1], which suggests that although Daymond graduated as a member of St Hugh's, she did not study as a member of St Hugh's.
