Almost whole article was translated from cz wikipedia, with little help of printed sources. My second source was published in 1985, it´s not very trustworthy - it´s written as communist adoration, I used only some dates. The cs wiki article seems to me POV, I tried to verify facts, but we need more views, more sources... Article needs also to check and correct english grammar. Burian certainly appears to be a somewhat important figure in post-WW2 Czech culture based on the description provided so far. While I've done some copyediting of what's here, the article clearly needs expansion. (More detailed descriptions of his creative works, as well as his political activities seem to be needed.)
