Watkins v Woolas?

[edit]

As per the discussion in the failed AfD, does anyone want to have a go at a Watkins v Woolas article on the election court case and surrounding context? It might then, as per WP:ONEEVENT, be appropriate to re-direct from this article to the new one. The best starting material is probably what's in the Phil Woolas article. I think if articles about election petitions are desired, then the name should be in the form '(Constituency) election petition, (Year)'. That's because the naming of the court cases is not consistent; normally they are in the form of Petitioner v Defendant but sometimes they appear as 'Re Parliamentary Election for (Constituency)'. There are also associated actions which are not cast in the same name, for example Phil Woolas' judicial review, and Phylip Hobson's appeal against the striking out of his petition against the Kensington by-election. O'M & H, which doesn't specifically encourage any style, seems to have unwontedly encouraged people to use the form '(Constituency) case' (sometimes with Petitioner v Respondent following), because it uses this form to head its chapters.
