[edit]I am trying to track down Elton Welsby for some picture research I am doing for a publisher.
I could do with his help in identifying some people at a function he attended. Sounds a bit odd I know, but I have a photo of a table with Welsby, Alex Ferguson, Paul Doherty, Joe Mercer, Billy Bingham, Peter Swales, John Smith and others (I can't identify them). It was taken at the Grosvenor House Hotel and it's table 60. I think it's a function relating to Granada (or a Granada TV sport table at another function).
The reason I need to identify the people/event is that this is about to appear in a book and the author and publishers need names and, if possible, a year. I reckon it's about 1986 (shortly after Fergie arrived at Utd).
So if anyone knows where Elton Welsby can be contacted then let me know. BillyMeredithShorts (talk) 16:16, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Elton Welsby His-story
[edit]There seems to be very limited information regarding Mr. Welsby, especially as he is listed as a public figure. As he comes from the Merseyside area, I wondered if more information about him is accessable anywhere. Where did he grow up, is he married, etc. Or is he such a private preson, as some are, that he withholds personal information from the public domain. I do not think he will be married, in the usual sense of the word, so to speak. Fletcherbrian (talk) 03:57, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
