Opening date confirmation
[edit]The closure date of the old Eltham Well Hall and Eltham Park station with the opening of Eltham station has been checked. I have in my possession the public notice regarding these changes which states that Eltham Well Hall and Eltham Park stations closed after the last trains on the evening of Saturday 16 March 1985. Eltham station opened with the first train on Sunday 17 March 1985 replacing the aforementioned two stations. This clarifies or alters what is stated in Kent Railways by David Glasspool.[[78.151.246.142 (talk) 09:57, 16 December 2009 (UTC)]]
Separate article for Eltham Park
[edit]I would recommend that a separate article be created for Eltham Park station closed in 1985. The present Eltham station (opened in 1985) replaced both Eltham Well Hall and Eltham Park station. I accept that the history of Eltham Well Hall station (closed in 1985)can be incorporated into Eltham station.Steamybrian2 (talk) 09:58, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
