Question
[edit]At the bottom of this article it states that Dr. Murano's predecessor was Dr. Gates (technically correct) however, on the List of Texas A&M University presidents it includes Eddie J. Davis, who was the interim president...it seems to me that the list and the box thingamajigger (technical term...) should agree on whether or not Eddie J. Davis held the office between Dr. Murano and Dr. Gates, or maybe the title of the box should somehow be changed to indicate that its just for the 'official' presidents and not for the actings and interims...

Conspiracy!
[edit]One of the more popular theories about why Murano was kicked out was because the Board elected her because of her token qualities, she was a Hispanic women (all previous TAMU presidents were white males). When Murano tried to call the shots and fought against the Board, the Board decided to take revenge and ousted her. TheListUpdater (talk) 21:50, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
