Odyssey based on the New testament????

That's a weird statement. How could the Odyssey (600 BC at least) be based on a story from the gospel of Luke (at least 60AD)? That source is either wrong or has been misread somehow, and I can't access the cited source to double-check... Add assassin's creed odyssey to modern uses?
