[edit]There was another, earlier person of this name, also in Washington, presumably related, who played a significant role in the Washington exhibits at the Pan-American Exposition (Buffalo), Louisiana Purchase Exposition (St. Louis), and Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition (Portland).
