2006 party affiliation ambiguity
[edit]The NDP's constitution does not permit its members from holding a simultaneous membership in another political party. Buchanan was on the provincial party's membership committee until the spring of 2005, so he knew the rules quite well. Therefore, his support for Bob Rae and joining the Liberal party publicaly, means that he is no longer a member of the NDP.Abebenjoe 09:03, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
