Speedy deletion nomination of Elliot Evans
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Elliot Evans requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.36.17.10 (talk) 13:28, 4 October 2009 (UTC) I think this page should not be deleted because he is a rising star and there is a lot more to come, his career is not over.
Notability
[edit]Discuss here your real opinions on whether Elliot Evans is notable enough for this article. As I am the author of the article, I am still unsure whether I made the right decision for making the article. Hassaan19 (talk) 18:17, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think he is to be honest. It looks like he fails WP:MUSIC. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 19:12, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Second single
[edit]I did add the information about his second single from a reference on a blog I found. Does anyone have any more information about the single O-o-h Child, and the release date, if so, please add the information to the article. Hassaan19 (talk) 18:20, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
