PROD
[edit]All the references are to essentially the Department's own website via various routes this is WP:PROMO. This person is not notable. NO WAY is she notable. Lots of people in lots of government establishments hold lots of positions. They don't shout about it. I have no grudge about this person but it does not meet WP:N she is not notable. User:Feinoha don't take out the PROD. I PROD it it goes for discussion that is WP:BRD: I have B, you have R, now we D. It needs discussion. That is how we achieve WP:CONCENSUS. I already left a comment on its talk page before I made the PROD and I am not trigger-happy with this things so all you had to do was look at it. Si Trew (talk) 14:00, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
Right let me set my stall. Ellen MacArthur is an international renowned round-the-world single-handed sailor. Ellen McCarthy is someone in an office somewhere in Washington, D. C. administering something or other. What are people likely to want to find? I have no gripe against the woman but most readers like me who are fumbling for the surname are not going to want to find some bureacrat in an office in Washington, D. C. They are going to want to find the internationally renowned and awarded sailor. Now your turn. Do the talk on the PROD page. You can't just remove a PROD just because WP:IDONTLIKEIT. Other people may have different views. Si Trew (talk) 14:05, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
- Replies on the PROD page here please. Si Trew (talk) 14:07, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
- I don't even live in the US so she can't touch me if she tried. Here, I give you my US social security number 628 68 6866. I doubt she is going to phone me up and ask me about it. Soddit, let them all fraudulently use that number. Then she might have some work to do. Si Trew (talk) 14:10, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
- Read WP:PROD. This is only to be used for uncontroversial deletions. Furthermore, since it's already gone through WP:AFD and resulted in no consensus I feel that this deletion would be controversial, so if you still feel it should be deleted, then feel free to take it to AFD again.
