Fraternities and Sororities?

@Rublamb: What is the connection between Elks Club and Store Building–Dickinson Lodge No. 1137 and the Fraternities and Sororities WikiProject? -- Pemilligan (talk) 15:28, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Elks Club is a fraternal organization or what is called a general fraternity. As such, it falls under WikiProject Fraternities and Sororities. WP F&S also tracks buidings related to fraternities, like Elks Club and Store Building–Dickinson Lodge No. 1137. The benefit is that this article has a greater chance of being developed beyond Stub class, as this niche of architecture and National Register buidlings get little focus from the larger WikiProjects.
