GA Review
[edit]Hi. Unfortunately, this article does not yet meet Good Article standards for the following reasons:
- Even though this is a county, the editors should still look at the recommendations provided by WP:USCITY, as counties and cities are very similar as to what the articles should contain. Obviously, not all the suggested topics will be relevant to each place, but it gives a good starting point.
- All web sources should have at least a title, publisher, and access date. A great way to make references is to use the Auto Wiki Ref Generator, which does everything for you... just put in the information.
- The entire demographics section needs to be sourced.
- A word about what actually needs to be sourced. In essence, any hard facts (i.e. statistics, dates, numbers, etc.) and anything that is likely to challenged. See WP:CITE for more details.
- Per WP:Embedded list, lists should be written out as prose. The linked page gives good examples.
Overall, this is a good start. I will go ahead and place the article on hold for a week to give the editors time to make any corrections before a final GA review. Best, epicAdam (talk) 16:20, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- This article could use more linkage. I linked some words, but I think that the Palm Sunday tornado has its own article, and there are other possibilies. I also think a couple of sentences need a reference. My 2 cents, Mr. Harman (talk) 02:55, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Since no action has been taken on the article in a week, I will fail the article for now. Please renominate when ready. Best, epicAdam(talk) 21:17, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
