Hi @Chillfroi. I am aware that you had put in a source to help add in more information about the Elizabethan government. However, I do not know what you have edited or added from what you did. Next time, please type down what you had edited or added into the article. Y33T 0321 (talk) 22:42, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Y33T 0321: You can compare the differences between revisions in the history to see what's changed. Click on the dots next to the "(cur|prev)" links to select which versions of the article you want to compare then click the button at the top of the history tab.
In this case, a reference was added to the "Domestic policy" section and the last paragraphs of "Privy Council" (starting The Elizabethan Era is where...) were added back in (the same material removed by ZGMU in the revision immediately before). – Scyrme (talk) 23:01, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok thanks! I didn't know you can do that. I'll make sure to update the feedback to ChillFroi. Y33T 0321 (talk) 23:09, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@ChillFroi, I apologize for the feedback I gave you earlier. I am still acknowledging that you had put in a source to add in more information, but you had also included more information to sections "Privy Council" and "Impact", making the article feel like some of the sections have a good closing to them. Good job! Y33T 0321 (talk) 23:29, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Impact

[edit]

Give an example or examples where the impact of Elizabethan government proved to have a great effect on England as a whole. Smh24 (talk) 17:26, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not just on England or the British Isles, but this seems like it would have great impact on the world. While a complete breakdown of the impact that Elizabeth and her government accomplished or set into motion would be unwieldy, it would make for a good place for some expansion and maybe even further readings. Perhaps add a few examples and link to other relevant articles. MrHistoryBunny (talk) 20:31, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Local Governments

[edit]

"Thus they had significant wealth and influence. They also had responsibilities, for they were meant to aid the monarch by governing their land. Local grievances were taken to the lord of the manor; on the other hand, tenants were loyal to him – if called upon, they were obliged to go to war."

I feel that this section could use a bit of work. It is written as a sort of pros and cons list but it just reads weird to me. Maybe you could move it so that the good things (Wealth/Influence and Loyal Tenants) are next to each other and the responsibility line is on its own rather than in-between. That might make the section flow better. RBMBH (talk) 21:06, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Cecil and the Queen

[edit]

"Cecil was close to Elizabeth even before she was queen, and their personal relationship was described as one of confidence, trust, and mutual respect." Why were they close beforehand? Should that information be added? Uh Kay Shuh (talk) 22:35, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
