Shakespeare's lover?
[edit]There is a theory by a German (female) professor of English, Hildegard Hammerschmidt-Hummel, that Elizabeth Vernon was a lover of Shakespeare and had a daughter (Penelope) by him. I think it's total nonsense, but if you wish I could include a sentence on it in the article (I happen to own the pertinent book). Buchraeumer (talk) 10:26, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
