This is still original research. We do not examine the pages ourselves, but must wait for an independent, reliable and secondary source to examine the pages and report on their findings, which means the person making the accusation, Sharon Wee, cannot be used to cite the claim.
Per Wikipedia's policy on self-published sources, we do not cite claims by random people on Instagram either. If the allegations are true, it will be duly reported upon by news media and Bloomsbury, of which the information can then be added.Seloloving (talk) 23:29, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for taking the time to write this explanation. It feels a bit frustrating because the side-by-side comparisons presented in Daryl Lim Wei Jie's Instagram posts (if true) seem so damning, although I fully appreciate the need for independent verification. It's not clear that Bloomsbury will issue a statement, having already removed the book from their website. The Daily Mail has published an article here: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10078307/MasterChef-cook-praised-Nigella-Lawson-accused-poaching-recipes-fellow-writer.html, but The Daily Mail is not recognised as a reliable source by Wikipedia. I just feel strongly about plagiarism, especially when it is egregious. But thanks again for your comment. 2A01:388:33B:112:0:0:1:5 (talk) 00:14, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you have noticed, in the article there is already a statement of the book being withdrawn due to the allegations of plagarism which is backed by two references. There's no need to bomb that sentence with too many references, without adding any more infomration than it is already there. – robertsky (talk) 16:47, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Her cookbook “Makan” was withdrawn by the publisher Bloomsbury in October 2021 after Haigh was accused of plagiarising recipes and other content from Singaporean author Sharon Wee's 2021 book Growing up in a Nonya Kitchen. 2A01:4C8:1043:F1B4:ADAD:398F:377F:431F (talk) 09:12, 11 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
