Title and categories
[edit]I bitterly regret my ineptitude in naming this page "Elizabeth filkin" not "Elizabeth Filkin." I suspect resolution of the issue will have to await a) the intervention of a more experienced wikipedian; or b) mastery of the not inconsiderable technical instruction around page redirection.
Same goes for categorisation:
[[Category:{{{Nationality}}} people by occupation|{{{Profession}}}]] [[Category:{{{Profession}}} by nationality|{{{Nationality}}}]]
seems to have something to do with the answer, but I know not wot yet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LaFolleCycliste (talk • contribs) 12:08, 20 May 2009
Reopening of charges against Keith Vaz
[edit]Keith Vaz is currently chairing the parliamentary committee inquiry into police corruption re: the News of the World phone hacking scandal. As so many police officers are currently being accused of corruption , by politicians who are corrupt themselves, it would perhaps be timely to include a link to Keith Vaz's page: Filkin was crucified for doing her job diligently and honestly by this man, who was selling passports for cash (see Hinduja brothers scandal) - after she did her duty and investigated him, Vaz made a string of totally false statements to her, and subsequently bogus information to the police, but was never charged with perverting the course of justice or passing false information to the police. It seems likely that files relating to these offences may be reopened soon - to ensure that Vaz himself receives the same form of judicial punishment that he is currently seeking to subject bent police officers to. A link to the 'Keith Vaz' webpage would therefore appropriate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.70.234.193 (talk) 16 Jul 2011, 14:49
