Was he the son of rav yosef yutzpa exiled from Spain, or was he a grandson of yoselman from rosheim in frankfurt
His Father was Rabbi Yosef Yutzpeh, who arrived to Kracow from exiled Spain. It is saidCite error: The opening <ref> tag is malformed or has a bad name (see the help page).that he wasn't married and at 80 he told the beis din of Krakow that he wanted to marry. By then they already knew of his greatness as a righteous man, so they brought a young girl who had lost her husband and asked her if she would marry. She then told the beis din that she had had multiple dreams to marry Rav Yosef yuspe, and so in this very unusual arrangement they wed and had a child. He told her that soon after he would die and that the child should be called eliyahu and that he would have a very special soul, and if he wanted to coming of age he could be allowed to travel as part of his soul mission. It is inferred from the memoirs that Eliyahu travelled to Sfat and even studied by the Arizal himself.51.9.7.240 (talk) 20:02, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
