Redirects

Can someone please explain to me the point of having links that redirect to this article (eg, the title of the second book) instead of simply having red links? Surely this is a waste of time and effort for the person setting up the links as well as for the people who are duped into thinking they will find an article describing the book. 216.255.171.122 (talk) 23:09, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
