electric energy is something that is static like rubbing your hair and putting it on a balloon or when you putt a hat on winter your hair kinda goes up when you take it off00:24, 11 October 2012 (UTC)99.125.148.156 (talk)

This needs some more detail. Maybe a history of our knowledge of electricity (Micheal Farady, Einstien etc). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.150.85.134 (talk) 09:00, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Matej Krnic is a name planted on this place! He has no relation with electricity! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2804:14D:5CE1:B669:81E8:88CD:E321:51CD (talk) 17:51, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Electric energyElectrical energy – The article begins with "Electrical energy is the energy newly derived ...", so the lemma should be named "electrical energy"; So far there is redirect from "electrical energy" to "electric energy", as the article uses electrical energy, the redirect should be the other way around. – Gunnar (talk) 23:29, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed redirect

[edit]

I've gotten gun shy about redirects so I'll throw it up at the barn door here and see if it sticks. As far as the "physics lecture" sense of electric energy is needed, it's already at electricity; and this article doesn't go into "test charges doing work against an electric field" at all. As far as we need to talk about electric energy for lights and plugs, we've got the Electric power article. This article seems entirely superfluous. Let's redirect it, to, oh, say Electricity in the interests of maintainability. --Wtshymanski (talk) 15:43, 28 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. This article is unnecessary and confusing. Elektrolyt (talk) 18:04, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
