Introduction - Tony Windsor - question historical significance
[edit]Presently, the first paragraph of this article ends with this sentence:
- Tamworth was held by independent member Tony Windsor between 1991 and 2001 when he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Member for New England.
Whilst I accept the importance of Tony Windsor in the current state of Federal politics, I question the significance to position this sentence within the opening paragraph. I acknowledge the fact that he held this state seat for ten years; yet I also note that there are other politicans who held the seat for significantly longer periods of time and probably achieved more for the electorate. Assuming that there are no raging arguments, I suggest that this line be deleted within 7–10 days. Feedback is always welcome. Jherschel (talk) 03:54, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
