Heini Becker, Liberal member for Hanson 1974–1993?
[edit]The SA parliament page used as the reference mentions he was an LCL member for Hanson from 70 to 93 and Liberal member for Peake 93 to 97. But the table here says he was LCL for Hanson from 70 to 74 and Liberal for Hanson from 74 to 93. Electoral results for the district of Hanson specifies which parties he was and when, but I don't have access to the book used as the reference there. Can anyone suggest an online source that could be used to clear this up? FolowAusPolitics (talk) 16:12, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
- The LCL was re-named to become the state branch of the Liberal Party in 1974, so there's your answer. SA Parliament is not always super-careful about their dates. Frickeg (talk) 20:22, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
- Oh, that makes sense. Yes I've noticed that some of the profiles published on the parliament website have the barest of information and can be light on specifics. FolowAusPolitics (talk) 21:59, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
