Should articles on DRC include the word "The" in their title? I'm thinking of National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and others which have recently been moved. Personally I think yes they should, as this is what english speakers normally say (despite the general ban on articles in wikipedia). What do others think? AndrewRT(Talk) 21:09, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Length of election terms
[edit]Since I've heard several references to "next year's elections, I'm guessing everyone was elected for a term of five years. Can anyone confirm this and put it in the article? DBlomgren (talk) 02:38, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
Latest elections
[edit]Under "Latest elections", the contents of this article lists
"1.1 2006 General Election, 1.2 2007 Senate election, and 1.3 2011 Presidential election."
The most recent election discussed in this article is the 2011 Presidential election.
Am I wrong in saying that a Presidential election in the DRC took place in 2019, and that this election is highly noteworthy?
How can this article be allowed to remain in this condition Wikipedia?
Absolutely unacceptable. ---Dagme (talk) 00:15, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
