Talk:Elastic cloud storage
Appearance
I deleted this sentence from the article This has obvious weaknesses in that two of the five main principles of cloud computing are abrogated: elasticity and utility-based payments.[1]
- Opinion as fact
- Tech Republic Reference is an opinion article - and this sentence isn't a summary of it anyway, it doesn't refer to the 5 main principals of cloud computing.
- The two of five main principals don't match those in Cloud_computing#Characteristics - which are listed and cited. This article only refers to a book I can't read, so no idea if it matches those principals.
- If we're giving opinion, private cloud just has different scaling issues, which may or may not give a qualitatively different result than public cloud.
